expo_pdf_2016Summit Health and St. Charles Cancer Center present the Third Annual Oncology Nursing Symposium. The program will focus on the pharmacological effects on immunologic pathways.
This workshop will discuss the role of palliative care in cancer care as well as the use of naturopathic medicine in the cancer patient. The holistic use of medical marijuana in cancer patients will also be discussed. The conference will conclude with case studies regarding lung cancer and the latest in immunology and pharmacology advances. This course is applicable to nurses, mid-level providers, student nurses and support staff in the outpatient and inpatient setting, who care for oncology patients or patients with a history of cancer. The attendees can earn up to five CEUs for the conference.
